The American Institutes accept TOEFL Test, whereas IELTS Test is being accepted commonly overseas, but there are number of institutes/schools that accept scores of both tests. As compared to TOEFL, most of the people give IELTS Test. Both of these tests are given to check proficiency in English Language, both of these include Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing. All the non-native English Language speakers give any of these exam to complete their application.
