I had my IELTS test today, Part 1 and 2 went really well, but the examiner stopped me before I answered the last question of Part 3. What does this imply? Should I be worried?
The examiner stopped you while you were speaking? If such was the case, time had run out. Everyone receives the same amount of time, and once it's gone, it's gone! Test conductors can't give certain candidates more time than others since it would be unequal. You claim that the examiner forbade you from answering the final question. Do you mean they asked you a question and then abruptly cut you off? It happens, and it has no bearing on your grade. You are graded on the entire test, not just one section. Wishing you the best of luck with your results!
