- Foreign Graduate Entrepreneur Stream: This stream mainly helps those candidates who have completed a foreign post-secondary credential and want to start a business in Alberta. Eligibility Criteria for AAIP : To be eligible for Alberta Advantage Immigration Program the applicants must fulfil the required eligibility criteria.
- Candidates must have an Express Entry Profile.
- Candidates must have a minimum CRS score of 300.
- Candidates must have a good score on the language proficiency test.
- Candidates must provide proof of their education.
- Candidates must provide proof of their work experience.
- If you are applying under AAIP then you must qualify under any one stream of Express Entry Program i.e. FSW, FST or CEC.
- Have enough funds for yourself and your family if you are enrolling them with you in your immigration application.
Documents required for Alberta Immigration: the required documents under AAIP are the same as the documents required for the Express entry program. Additional documents are required by the Entrepreneur category. Mainly the documents required for immigration purposes are
- A valid account on the website of immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
- A valid passport
- Proof of educational credentials
- Proof of work experience
- Proof of funds for your stay
- Medical certificate
- Police clearance certificate
- Documents supporting your relationship with your Spouse or common-law partner and your children if you include them in your application.
- Proof of your language proficiency, i.e. IELTS, CELPIP or PTE.
- A valid job offer. (It's not compulsory to have one, but if you have a valid job offer from an Albertan employer, then it will help you in increasing your CRS score).
If you have a French language proficiency test then it will also help you in increasing your CRS score.
