Three Canadian provinces invite immigrants through provincial Nominee Programs
The IRCC has the last say on permanent resident status for all applications, despite the fact that PNPs let provinces propose persons they believe will smoothly integrate into the province.
Individuals interested in immigrating to Canada through provincial immigration programs will now be able to apply for PNPs in British Columbia, Quebec, and Manitoba, which have released the most recent number of invitations, according to CIC News on February 25.
According to the information, PNPs are economic immigration programs that allow provincial governments to pick individuals who are most likely to effectively integrate into the province's economy while filling critical labour force shortfalls.
The federal government and the provinces share immigration duties. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has the last say on permanent residence status for all applicants, despite the fact that PNPs let governments propose persons they believe will easily integrate into the province.
