a. Saskatchewan Experience Category: This category of PR applications in Saskatchewan may be submitted utilizing any of the six sub-streams. Sub-streams include:

 

1. If you have worked in Saskatchewan for at least six months and have an active work permit, you may apply in this stream.

 

2. Semi-skilled agriculture employees with active work permits are eligible, as long as they have been employed in Saskatchewan for at least six months and have a current work permit.

 

3. Physicians, nurses, and other health professionals who have been employed in Saskatchewan for at least six months under a temporary work permit are eligible for this group.

 

4. Project in the hospitality sector: For international employees who:

 

• Possess a temporary work visa and are presently employed in Saskatchewan as a result of a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).
   
• Have completed at least six months' worth (780 hours) of service for an organization that has obtained SNIP Hospitality approval;
   
• Occupy one of the following positions:
  • Food and Drink Server (NOC 6513)
  • Employee of the Food Counter/Kitchen Assistant (NOC 6711)
  • Cleaning and Housekeeping Staff (NOC 6731)
• Satisfy the requirements of the subcategory.
   

5. Long haul truck drivers may convert to a permanent status under this category if they are currently working in Canada on a temporary work permit.

 

6. Students: This substream is broken into two different substreams and is intended for international students. Here, we'll go into further detail about this.

 

I. Students substream: A graduate of a Saskatchewan Institute who qualifies:

 

• You may apply for PR in this sub-stream if you graduated from any institution in Saskatchewan that is eligible. You must meet the following prerequisites in order to apply:
   
• Have obtained a post-secondary diploma, degree, or certificate from a school in Saskatchewan.
   
• A valid work visa for post-graduation
   
• Have a minimum of 960 hours of paid labour in Saskatchewan, or six months of continuous employment.
   
• Full-time job offer from a Saskatchewan firm in your field of study. This task ought to be of:
  • NOC 0; NOC A; B;
     
• A designated trade that needs post-secondary education and is relevant to your subject of study.
   
• A legitimate SINP job approval document and the necessary language proficiency for NOC C occupations.
   

II. Students substream: A graduate from Canadian institution that qualifies:
 

In order to apply for this sub-stream, you must have graduated from a Canadian university that is eligible (outside of Saskatchewan). You must fulfill the following prerequisites in order to apply:
 

• Have obtained a degree, diploma, or certificate after completing at least eight months of full-time study at a postsecondary institution in Canada.
   
• A valid work visa for post-graduation
   
• Worked in Saskatchewan for at least 960 hours, or six months, in a row.
   
• Full-time job offer from a Saskatchewan firm in your field of study. This task ought to be of:
   
  • NOC 0; NOC A; B;
     
• A designated trade that needs post-secondary education and is relevant to your subject of study.
   
• A legitimate SINP job approval document and the necessary language proficiency for NOC C occupations.
   

b. International Skilled Worker Category: In Saskatchewan, you can submit an application under any one of these three substreams for this category of PR. Substreams include:
 

1. Employment Offer: If you have been offered a position in Saskatchewan for a skilled occupation, you may apply for this stream. In this sub-stream, candidates from inside and outside of Canada may apply.
 

2. In-demand occupations: This is for skilled professionals who do not currently have a job offer in Saskatchewan.
 

3. Express Entry in Saskatchewan is available to qualified workers who are part of the Federal Express Entry Pool and desire to live and work there permanently.
 

c. Farm Owner and Operator: If you wish to work in farming or create your own farming business, this category is for you. 
 

This is for people who want to own and run a farm in Saskatchewan and have prior farming expertise.

 

In Saskatchewan, you can apply for PR through any of the sub-streams.

• Young Farmers
   

d. Business Immigration Category: You can apply for PR in Saskatchewan under one of these two sub-streams if you are an entrepreneur seeking to either purchase an existing business in Saskatchewan or launch your own business.

 

1. Entrepreneur: By starting a business in the province or purchasing an existing one, this stream enables entrepreneurs and their families to relocate to Canada. These are a few of the conditions you must meet, among others:

 

• The acquisition of the $500,000 minimum net worth.
  
   
• Possess at least three years of relevant management or entrepreneurial experience.
  
   
• Have a minimum investment of $200,000 in any other Saskatchewan region, or $300,000 in Regina or Saskatoon.
  
   

2. International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream: This stream is for you if you want to launch a business after graduating from a Saskatchewan post-secondary institution that is eligible for it. These are the few conditions that, among others, must be met:

 

• Must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Saskatchewan to qualify.
  
   
• A full-time, two-year Saskatchewan post-secondary degree or diploma from an accredited and qualified Saskatchewan institution.
  
   
• A Post-Graduate Work Permit that is current and has at least 24 months left of eligibility.
  
   
• Have lived in Saskatchewan while pursuing their education.
  
   
• Attained a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) score of no less than seven.
  
   
• Own and operate a qualifying business in Saskatchewan at the very least before submitting a nomination application.
  
   
• You control at least one-third of the company's equity that the entrepreneur owns.
   
• Show that the company makes enough money to pay the costs of the operations that are associated with your personnel.
   
• After your application is approved by the SINP, you must sign a Business Performance Agreement with the Saskatchewan provincial government that is issued to you by the SINP.
• 
   

Graduate Retention Program (GRP): The Saskatchewan provincial government created this programme to entice talented students to the province.

 

Graduates who are currently residing in Saskatchewan are given a percentage of their provincial tax refund.

 

You must reside in Saskatchewan and file your income tax return there in order to apply for this programme.

 

Graduate Retention Program (GRP) Eligibility: You must meet the following prerequisites in order to apply for GRP:

 

• Presently residing in Saskatchewan
• Saskatchewan relocation
• Having applied within seven years of finishing a recognised post-secondary degree. The following requirements must be met by your programme:
• Equivalent to at least six full months of on-campus study at an approved school
• Must obtain a certificate, diploma, or undergraduate degree as your degree.
• Provide a certificate for a journeyperson.
   

Please take note that a graduate (master's) or PhD degree excludes you from the GRP. 

 

You can't apply straight away. The application could only be submitted on your behalf by your institution. 

 

You can submit your application directly to the Ministry of Advanced Education if you received your degree from a school in Saskatchewan or any other Canadian province.
