Immigrate Canada through Express Entry

Express Entry is an electronic system. It manages the applications of skilled workers. It is for those who wish to become permanent residents of Canada.   • Wait to see if you receive an invitation.
  • Submit your completed (APR) 
  • Pay your fees
  • You need to include your medical exam.
  • You need a police certificate.
  • Submit biometrics.
  • Wait for IRCC to make a final decision. 

 

How long the express entry process is:

Valid for up to one year. Candidates can expect the Canadian gov to process their PR applications within 6 months.After taking the final decision processing time ends.

How much does Express Entry cost:

Submitting an Express Entry profile to the gov pool of eligible candidates is free.However, candidates are required to incur some costs before submitting their Express Entry pr.

Am i eligible for express entry:

Federal Skilled Worker Program: It is Canada’s primary economic immigration pathway. The minimum requirements include at least one year of continuous full-time or equivalent paid work experience in the past 10 years in a skilled occupation under the (NOC) and better language ability in English or French; for candidates educated outside of Canada, an educational credential (certificate, diploma, or degree) and an (ECA) report. In addition to meeting the FSWP's minimum work, language ability etc candidates must obtain at least 67 points.

Canadian Experience Class: The CEC provides international students and foreign workers with the opportunity to obtain permanent residence. Candidates obtained at least one year of skilled, professional experience in Canada within 3 years of the application date. Meet language proficiency criteria.

Federal Skilled Trades Program: The FSTP is available to candidates who want to become permanent residents by qualifying for a skilled trade. Eligibility includes having a minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience. They meet the job requirements of the skilled trade. To have a full-time job offer in Canada for a period of at least 1 year and meet language proficiency.

The eligibility criteria for Express Entry are: A test proving adequate knowledge, (ECA) positive report, score of at least 67 points, a good medical health, having ability to clear the debt, no age barrier.

How to improve my Express Entry CRS score?

Ways to improve: To claim all the CRS points you are eligible for. You should Improve your language score and have your spouse as the principal applicant, obtain more education, obtain more work experience, study and work in Canada.

Ideal Express Entry candidate:

  • Under 30 years old .
  • Hold at least two Bachelor’s degrees 
  • Or have a Master’s degree .
  • Be able to demonstrate moderate to high English or French
  •  Three years of skilled work experience.

There are 2 stages:

  • Permanent residency application submission
  • Profile submisssion

For profile submission you need: Passport, Report of Educational Credential Assessment, results of the language, employment offer .

For permanent residency application submission:Proof of funds,Police clearance certificate and medical examination.

An Express Entry profile is submitted by eligible candidates which includes age, work experience, education, ability in French and English etc.Using these details, Canada ranks profiles in the Express Entry pool.

Is there a need of job offer for Express Entry:

No,You do not require a job offer for Express Entry. The vast majority of candidates selected for Express Entry do not have a formal Canadian job offer.If you have a valid Canadian job offer, this can increase 200 points to your CRS score.

How long does Express Entry take:

Express Entry can take six months to process, from submission of the Express Entry profile to the issuance of a permanent resident visa. Not all the cases will proceed this quickly. The profile will remain active in the pool of candidates for 12 months. If after 12 months you have not received an invitation, you have to resubmit your profile. To break it down further: Your profile will remain valid for 12 months in the pool and  60 days are there you have  to provide the requested full application of documents.

To demonstrate proof of funds applicants must submit letters from financial institutes where they keep their money. The letter must include :

  • Printed on the financial institution’s letterhead.
  • Financial institution’s contact information.
  • The name of the applicant.
  • List any outstanding debts or loans
  • Include account info: Account numbers, date of openin, current balance of each account, average balance for the previous six months.
