Express Entry Immigration in Surrey

The requirements for the British Columbia Express Entry stream are similar to the Federal Express Entry program. To be eligible for the BC Express Entry stream, the applicants must fulfil the minimum requirements of the Federal Express Entry program under any of its streams which are:
- Federal Skilled Workers Program
- Federal Skilled Trades Program
- Canadian Experience Class
Federal Skilled Workers Program: The minimum requirements for Federal Skilled Workers Program are:
- A job offer from an eligible Canadian employer which should be approved under LIMA.
- The applicant should prove his work experience for a minimum period of one year in full-time or equivalent experience in part-time in the duration of the last ten years in the occupation which is listed under the occupation list.
- The minimum 67 points in the selection factors of age, education, adaptability, Language proficiency, work experience and employment offer.
- Clear medical and police records.
- Enough funds for sustainability.
Federal Skilled Trades Program: The minimum requirements for Federal Skilled Trades Program are:
- Employment offer from a Canadian Employer. The employment offer must be of a minimum of one year in an eligible trade.
- Or The applicant must have a qualification certification from Canada.
- Language proficiency scores
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in relevant skilled trade fields in the last five years.
- Enough funds for sustainability.
Canadian Experience Class: The minimum requirements for Canadian Experience Class are:
- Minimum one year of full-time work experience in an occupation under skill type 0, A or B of the NOC list.
- The work experience must be obtained in the past three years of the date of application.
- Language proficiency scores.
- Clear medical and police records.
Apart from the eligibility in Express Entry streams, the applicant must also be eligible under the British Columbia Express entry streams. It also requires a qualified full time job offer as sponsorship from an eligible employer from British Columbia. The streams under BC PNP are:
- Skilled workers
- Health workers
- International Graduates
- International Postgraduates.
Skills Immigration Application process
Step 1. Submission of federal Express Entry profile
The first step is to submit your EE profile If you meet the requirements of federal programs under BC PNP. You can submit the Express Entry profile with IRCC. IRCC will give an Express Entry profile number and a Job Seeker validation code.
Step 2. SIRS Registration
The second step is SIRS registration as BC PNP works with a Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) for its immigration program. SIRS calculates the high-impact candidates as it’s a dynamic intake management system.
The candidates are required to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) online in the BC PNP.
Step 3. Invitation to apply
Step 3 is for those candidates who have been selected based on the point system of SIRS. The candidates with registration scores then get an Invitation to Apply under BC PNP. The selection score consists of various factors which include education, work experience, language proficiency and age.
It also includes the employment letter from the British Columbian Employer under the skill level NOC list. Also, the applicant's effect on the labour market and local economy of BC is calculated.
The applicants who have the highest scores receive the Invitation To Apply. This is for BC PNP not for the Federal EE profile.
Step 4. Application
In the next step the applicants with ITA are required to submit their application under BC PNP. The time limit for the application submission is 30 days and the application fees are $700 CAD.
Step 5. Nomination
In this step the applicants who are selected will receive a nominee certificate. It's a provincial nominee certificate which has 600 points in the Federal Express Entry Profile. Applicants with a nominee certificate can apply for permanent residency.
With a nominee certificate, the points in your Federal EE profile are increased and you will get an ITA under the federal EE program and can apply for permanent residency.
The applicants are required to have a support letter from BC PNP.
Step 6. IRCC application
The last step requires health and police clearance certificates. The candidates who successfully submitted all the documents and clear all the processing will receive permanent residency in Canada.
