Know the complete details about CELPIP Test Booking

The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program who’s short form is CELPIP is a general English language proficiency test for getting the PR. The test helps the applicants to demonstrate their ability to function in English. This test assesses an applicant's ability in a variety of everyday situations, such as communicating with co-workers and superiors in the workplace, responding to written materials, and interacting with friends.

 

Why CELPIP:

 

The CELPIP Tests are Canada's English tests for immigration and 

professional designation. Two types of CELPIP tests:

 

  • CELPIP- General test

The CELPIP - General test taker’s evaluate your English listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills and  find out are you efficient in these skills and you are officially designated for PR applications by (IRCC), and is also accepted for professional designations.

 

  • CELPIP- General LS test

The CELPIP - General LS evaluates test taker’s English listening and speaking skills and finds out that are you efficient and then you are    officially designated for citizenship applications by IRCC, and is also accepted for professional designations.

 

What is the CELPIP test:

The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) is an English language proficiency test accepted by a number of gov, professional organizations, and employers as proof of English language proficiency, by giving this test you can get PR.

The test gives us a valid measurement of the test taker’s English abilities. In a variety of ways we can measure abilities such as communicating with co-workers and superiors in the workplace, interacting with friends, understanding newscasts, and responding to written materials.

  • LS total test time is about 1h 10m.

Registration:

This test is available at over 70 locations. Test dates available every month. By selecting a location, find test centers and fees. Click the register now to sign up. Make sure you have your piece of ID. Also you should have signed up for an account. 

 

Celpip exam registration:

There are three methods : Online, mail, in-person.

Online registration:

  • Check that you have a genuine identity document.
  • For making an online payment you needed a credit/debit card

Registration Procedures :

  • Visit the CELPIP’s official website.
  • Please include all relevant information.
  • Choose a test date and location.
  • Make a payment online.

Book your CELPIP Exam:

Choose your test:

You are going to choose a CELPIP test that you are going for. Then choose between CELPIP General or CELPIP LS. Then you have to tell them why you are taking this test. Reasons can be study, immigration, and permanent residency.

Select a sitting:

In this you have to tell them about your centre. Centres include India, Canada, China, the Philippines, Singapore, UAE,US. After that you have to select a region.

Identity Proof:

In this they will ask about identity proof. Then you have to provide them with your id card number. When you come for the test you have to bring the same id card.

Account Information:

Then make an account on the website. On this account they will send you timings regarding your test. After that you have to agree to the terms and conditions they will give you in order to move to the next step.

Confirmation:

It is the next process. In this you have to give confirmation that you are going to give the test on the day. Also tell them that the time is set for you. After this CELPIP canada will confirm your booking through a text message. 

After that you are ready to take the test. 


 

How long is CELPIP valid:

The result is considered valid by most of the institutions by 2 years. Every institution has their own rules and regulations so it might be changed. 

Exam Format:

Listening:

This part will take between 47 and 55 minutes for completion. Then after choosing CELPIP General or CELPIP LS they will ask you about the reason for taking the CELPIP test. The reason can be study, immigration, and permanent residency.
