Writing Task 1:Writing an Email

Writing Task 1:Writing an Email

Write an email as You are experiencing financial problems and want to ask your landlord if you can pay your rent late.

Write an email to your landlord in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:

- Why you are writing to him

- Why you cannot pay the rent

- When you will pay the rent.

Dear Mr. Jones,

I am writing to ask for your cooperation and understanding regarding the rent payment for this month. Unfortunately, my current financial difficulties prevent me from paying the rent on time.

I am aware that I am responsible for paying my rent by the due date, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I assure you that I am making every effort to improve my financial situation, but it will take time.

I would appreciate your leniency in allowing me to pay the rent a few days late. I anticipate receiving my paycheck by the end of this week, and I will be able to pay the full amount of rent by 28 March. Due to my situation, I would also like to request that you waive any potential late fees.

I value my tenancy, and I am grateful for your understanding and assistance during this difficult time. I will maintain regular communication with you and keep you informed of my progress in settling any outstanding payments.

I appreciate your time and consideration, and I eagerly await your response.

Sincerely,

ABC
