Writing Task 1:Writing an Email

Write an email as You had recently ordered a pair of running shoes, online for an upcoming event. The shoes sent were of different size and color, even though you had paid the money only after selecting the required size and color.

Write an email to the website support team in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:

- Complain about service of the online site

- State about the urgency for the shoes

- How you would like the company to fix the problem.

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent order of running shoes I placed on your website. To my surprise, the delivered shoes were of a different size and colour than the ones I had ordered. This has caused me great inconvenience and dissatisfaction, especially since I had already paid in full for the shoes I had chosen.

Moreover, I urgently need the correct pair of running shoes for an upcoming competition, and the incorrect pair that was sent to me has put me in a difficult position. I had anticipated that the shoes would be delivered on the date promised. Nonetheless, I am now left without the correct shoes and without any indication of when I will receive them.

Consequently, I'd like to request that you take immediate action to resolve this matter. I need the correct pair of shoes delivered as soon as possible, preferably before the event. In addition, I would like to be compensated for the inconvenience caused by your error.

I hope that you will take this issue seriously and act immediately to resolve it. I eagerly await your response regarding the steps you will take to rectify the situation.
