Writing Task 1:Writing an Email

Writing Task 1:Writing an Email

Write an email as You are applying for a job and need a letter of reference from someone who knew you when you were at school.

Write an email to the old teacher in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:

- Say what job you have applied for

- Explain why you want this job

- Suggest what information the teacher should include

Hello, Mr. XYZ

I hope you are well and happy to receive this email. I'm writing to ask that you write me a letter of recommendation because I'm currently applying for a job at Google, and they've asked for two letters from my previous teachers.

I've applied for a position at Google as a data analyst. I feel that I am a strong candidate for the job based on my qualifications and experience, and I am looking forward to working with the team.

You were my teacher when I was in school, so I think you can tell a lot about my character and work ethic. I would appreciate it if you could mention my academic accomplishments, my capacity for teamwork, and my strong work ethic.

I am aware that you may have other obligations to attend to, but if you require any additional information, I will be happy to give it to you. If there is anything else I can do to help you with the letter, kindly let me know.

I appreciate your consideration and time. I hope to hear from you as soon as possible.

best wishes
