Writing Task 1:Writing an Email

Write an email as You recently returned to Toronto from San Francisco. But your luggage got misplaced.

Write an email to the manager of the airport in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:

- Provide details of your flight.

- Claim compensation for the lost luggage

Greetings, Airport Manager

I'm writing to let you know that on my most recent flight from San Francisco to Toronto on [date] with [airline name], my luggage did not make it. I was shocked to learn that my luggage had disappeared, and I haven't heard anything about its whereabouts since.

As a result of the loss of my luggage, which contains valuable items that are necessary for my work, I will suffer great inconvenience and hardship. I therefore ask that the airport act immediately to find my luggage and deliver it to me as soon as possible.

I also want to ask for compensation for the lost luggage because it has made me suffer financially and emotionally. I respectfully ask that you handle my claim in a prompt and effective manner.

Please give me an update as soon as possible on the whereabouts of my luggage. If there is anything else I can do to help with the procedure, kindly let me know.

I appreciate you giving this issue your attention.

Sincerely,

ABC
