First of all, I appreciate this initiative for inviting residents' opinions on immigration policy. At first look, I was tempted to support the first option of curtailing the number of immigrants as we perceive them to be diluting our culture and taking our jobs. But, after a little pondering, I think that I will support option B with some suggestions.

Our country is in the top 10 economies in the world. In order to sustain this growth rate, we need immigrants for the professions we have a scarcity within our country. Proficient immigrants come up with the skills that would be imbibed by the local population and help upskilling. Additionally, this influx creates a great mix of cultures with different cuisines, languages & art forms, which is ideal for our younger generations, giving way to a cosmopolitan society.

Lastly, I just want to suggest that people who are invited to our country should come with an open mind and be ready to intermingle. For that, you can ask for their views on sensitive topics in the application itself to judge the level of parochial-ness. Once again, a commendable effort by your agency.
