I want to thank my local newspaper for its consistent service over the years for delivering the news to our doorstep every morning. However, I would prefer your newspaper to have more Local and International news, discount coupons, etc.

First, our town has a 60% population of senior citizens, even though I stay with my parents, and they have an old habit of having morning tea with a newspaper. So they are not interested in discount coupons at all. In my opinion, for them, newspapers are pretty much the only source of reading news articles as they don’t prefer to rely on technology for the latest news and still read newspapers the old skool way.

Secondly, the newspaper is an integral part of mainstream media, and the focus should be on delivering the news, not discounted coupons. Coupons are a good option, but people want to read the news instead of majority useless coupons which they will probably never use. 

Even though we can access the news online and having discounted coupons in the newspaper will have financial benefits to some extent. But, based on the above consideration, I prefer to have Local and International news in your newspaper rather than coupons.
