- Claim compensation for the lost luggage.
Dear Authorities,
On the 10th of May 2010, I returned to Toronto from San Francisco via Canadian airlines (flight number AX123). When I landed and was eagerly waiting in the baggage area to receive my two suitcases; I was surprised to see one of my luggage never arrived.
On the one hand, I spoke about the issue with Ms. Apul tim, your ground-staff at the Toronto airport. In fact, she mentioned she would contact me within 24 hours, however, it has already been 4days and I haven't heard from your staff.
On the other hand, the bag I lost had many invaluable items including photos from my trip, gifts for my friends and family members. In addition, I also placed a brand-new Canon D650 camera in the same bag. I estimate the value of my belongings at around $1252
Although I won't be able to get those items back, I hope your management can provide me with reimbursement for my loss. If you have any further questions feel free to reach out to me at (111)111-1111.
Regards,
Ala
