Hostel management has decided to upgrade the security in and around the campus. The management has sent out an opinion survey to see what residents would like to have a new security measure.
Option A: New HD Night Vision Cameras covering the area around the hostel.
Option B: Installing biometric locks on the doors.
I would like to opine myself in favor of option A, as it seems to be a better and convincing choice than the other one.
Though the other choice is equally appealing, I would strongly recommend the hostel management to have HD night vision cameras around the campus.
To begin with, this option would relieve the tiring process of finding too many guards to maneuver the entire building all round the clock.
The night vision cameras would share the digital images in all corners of the campus. The security officers can watch the entire campus from the designated control room.
Moreover, it is worth mentioning installing the cameras around the campus is a one-time investment rather than spending too much for the security guards to their lifetime.
The security guards may create an unnecessary disturbance at the midnight by whistling or hitting the road with their sticks at the time of patrolling, whereas, the cameras would provide a peaceful environment.
Having discussed all the arguments, I believe in installing the night vision cameras would be beneficial to all of us. I appreciate the chance provided to me to voice my opinion.
