Your city's Environment protection department is conducting a survey to bring in revolutionary changes in the transport system. The department has sent out an opinion survey to see what residents feel about the given options.

Option A: Governments should spend money on the development of public transportation systems.

Option B: It is better to spend money on the development of electric and other types of cars that may cause less pollution.

Unfortunately, our atmosphere is facing numerous problems and pollution is one of them. It seems to worsen with time. I believe that city management has to pay more attention to the development of the public transportation system in order to control the air and noise pollution.

To embark upon, local government has to spend a huge amount of money on the maintenance of the transportation and traffic management system. It helps in the smooth functioning of the traffic flow. In addition, in order to motivate people to use public transport, special discounts on tickets should be given to the passengers.

Moreover, high-class facilities such as comfortable seats, fully air-conditioned cabins and insurance of security must be added in public transportation. This step will help a lot in reducing the number of personal vehicles on road. It will become easy for traffic police to control the traffic congestions. Furthermore, an installation of CCTV cameras, expansion in traffic management policy will also help to control the pollution more effectively.

To encapsulate, development of the public transportation will be a win to win situation for both the government and its population. It not only solves the environmental issues but is also is economical too.
