Indian students being rejected for student visa in Australia for unknown reason

Australia is refusing the visa to the Indian students. This was an unpredictable move by the Australian Immgration. Students  don’t know the reason for being rejected for student visa according to Chitresh Dhawan an Australian education visa expert.

Dhawan said that he was in the field for more than three decades but he has never seen such a move by the Australian immigration. Many student visas were rejected for no reason by Australian immigration.

Australia is also a favourite destination for Indian students followed by Canada and the UK. Many students mainly from North India opt for Australia, Canada and UK for their higher studies.

Most of these students are high school graduates who applied for the student visa. For their higher studies especially after the Covid restrictions were over, many of them choose as their destination for Higher studies.

Australia has many world class universities and colleges and many Indians after completing their studies have settled there on a permanent basis. Many students are applying for the student visa in Australia.

Earlier there was no problem with the visa applications and all the students who are eligible got their visas but now without any specific reasons Australia is rejecting the student visa including the applicants which are most deserving and have excellent academic records.

According to experts, the immigration department of Australia has chosen a non transparent and opaque system to reject these students.

According to Mr Dhawan, students with excellent academic records, higher scores in language proficiency tests and having good financial conditions which meet the requirements of the visa also got rejected for no reason.

Many of these students have reapplied for the Australian student visa while others opted for Canada and UK to reapply for the student Visa.

Many students are brilliant among them. The rejection rate for student visa applications has reached 50% this year. This includes higher education and vocational training programs.

If the immigration department doesn’t bring transparency to the matter then it will be a matter of time that the country will lose in the race of finding young talents to other countries which are welcoming of these international students like Canada and UK.
